Since I can never win any sort of lottery in this world, do you know if those are transferrable in case someone gets picked and can't go?

Any Bruery trustees who could potentially do a pickup of ~24 bottles for me and ship to me in the next two weeks? I would provide:
-2 prepaid shipping labels (emailed to you)
-Costs for 2 shippers via Paypal (although if someone has an extra shipper or two already, even better!)
-A bottle of Hoarders "Flanders Giant" that you could keep when you do the pickup
    -My most sincere gratitude

For now this is a one-time situation and I would just switch trustee over to you for this pickup and then switch back to my current trustee. Really looking for someone with a few years on BA and ideally with a good trade history since I will be entrusting you with my precious bottles!

    Please PM me if interested.

I'm tapped out right now. Beer is at capacity and I've got 3 of trustee's worth of stuff at my house right now.

Also, just throwing this out there, that's actually an unusually small offer. Usually the person sends every shipper full of beer, not just one bottle.

Good luck finding someone to help though!

That is actually pretty standard man. Every single person I've trusteed for offers that up front. I've never even had to ask for it. Hell, I would even take less beers if I got some rarer beers.

I too would rather have 2 ish semi rare beers than the shelf turds some people send. some people send good stuff, but some people send 3 month old modern times cans and expect you to do a backflip!

Agreed. I am pretty lucky though. I've received from pretty awesome stuff from trustee work. Rare Barrel, Huna, Pizzaboy, Founders, 2 floyds. I can't really complain. Got a JK sour just this past weekend.

I've got a couple people I do growler fill trades with too during the trustee stuff. I'll happily pay for a growler fill consider the awesomeness that some of these people send me.

On the flip of that, if I do get shelf turds more than twice in a row, I back out. If it's not worth my time I won't do it.

I have someone that's a Reserve member that I trustee for. Pretty much one box a quarter, but he sends 12 great beers, Upland Sours, barrel aged stuff and IPA's are things like Permanent Funeral. He's badass.

Ha! Like those last long in my house. Actually I might have 1 BBA MP left for some reason or another. But the Rum ones..yeah...those pretty much came and went. I have to ask my better half if I can dip into her collection of them to get my fix now. =P

Probably a really old beer, that was before Jimmy Floyd joined the team.

Thanks guys, I should be all set. A few people replied right away. This is likely just a one-time situation where my timing did not line up with my trustees availability (never had any issues in the last 4 years of being in RS/HS). Good to know there are folks in Cali happy to help!

Apparently the going rate is sending back every shipper full of beer, so I guess I have been getting off cheap sending my trustee back occasional shippers and buying him Hoarders/Reserve stuff!

I'm not surprised at all you found someone and I didn't mean to come off as a dick. Most of us that trustee are already HS/RS so getting one of their beers isn't exactly an offer. I'm glad you found someone to help you though!

You guy's don't even know about that 2 floyds. I'm getting a sixer of pixie dust this weekend!

its actually a new year round terreux offering that should be ready by summer...was mentioned in an email a while back with a sneak peek for terreux in case you were wondering my source....

"Why stop there? We have two more year-round beers on the docket that we hope to have released by Summer.

Gypsy Tart™ is our version of a classic Flanders-style brown ale, or Oude Bruin as one might say. A malty, brown ale fermented in stainless steel with just enough of our souring bacteria and yeast to give it a hint of tartness, while maintaining its natural, malty, brown sugar-like sweetness.

Humulus Terreux™ is our final year-round offering from Bruery Terreux. This one is a bit of an amalgamation of what we love about beer. It's a riff on a country-style blonde ale fermented with Brettanomyces and a heap of dry hops at the end for a fresh, lemony zing."
