All this talk about Whalez, Bourbon Barrel this...Heady that. KB-what? Huna-who? I'm talkin' some good ol' mass produced, scroungin' for change, throw in the cooler with a bag of ice while I cook my beef lip hotdogs sitting on my tailgate beer.

PBR. When I was in college it would've been Rolling Rock.

Coors Banquet at home/Tailgate. PBR at a dive bar with good music. I vote Coors.

Yuengling should be on this list, and it would be my choice.

I voted Coors Banquet, although its more closer to $25 around here than it is $10.

Bud Select, more alcohol than Bud Light, fewer calories. I won't say it helped forge America but for $9/12 pack it can't be beat.

At the time America was forged, beers brewed in america were ales, were produced and consumed locally, and were not sold in 12 packs.

Of those proud American brews, is PBR the only one still owned by an American company?

Why are they the only alternatives to whalez? Why is the Port City Essential Pale Ale I had last night, easily available in any super market around here, not an alternative to chasing whalez?

Blatz. Was able to get a case of returnable bottles for under $5 in college. Paid for it dearly the next day though.

Genesse Cream. I used to be ok with Yuengling, but I've heard they're basically the Chik-fil-a of beer now.

Genesee. Although, our high-school beer of choice was Miller, The Champagne of Bottled beer. $1.99 a sixer, $2.13 with sales tax.

Would've picked Genesee if it was on the list, but went with PBR.

I will still order a PBR on tap if I just am not in the mood for something heavy. Big fan of the High Life as well.

Depending on how hot it was, if those were my choices, I'd probably go with H2O.

Now, you throw Old Style into the mix and Ima slam that bizzy.
