Starting this for anyone who needs help in finding any of their beers.

The first person who needs help is actually myself!

Alright, where does everyone get theirs? My sisters birthday is coming up (August) and I need to find some. I know their are websites, but shipping really seems to be crazy. I have heard good things about BIAB, Trappist world, etre, and Belgium beerz. What do you recommend? or should I try to trade for it?

If you don't care about shipping costs, pay for shipping at one of the sites above.

If you want to do more work and save on shipping, trade for it.

Just a heads up, unless something has changed in the past month or so, LAX customs has been sending back orders from BIAB, Etre, ect. Some of them won't ship to the west coast anymore due to all the returns (there are a few threads about this issue.) Those sites are the best way to get them though, but you have to make sure you order enough to optimize the shipping.

I see them more often on fancy beer menus at specialty beer stores for on site consumption. If you don't mind dropping $100+ they aren't too hard to find for the middle of the road ones

Find traders from the Netherlands and send a box of Bourbon County...they will take good care of you.

Unless you plan to travel to Brussels, forget it. Get some Drie Fonteinen and Hanssens, you'll save yourself a lot of stress.

Why do you need Cantillon? There are many good gueuzes and lambics out there that don't involve the same cost or effort. Is your sister that hardcore a sour fiend that she needs Cantillon?

Not the same, but RR and almanac have some great wilds, are there any that your sister has not had? This could be a great option to introduce her to some great beers that she might be able to find once in a while. If you just have to have Cantillion, trading is the best way. You are in CA, so if you can pull something like BA speedway, speedway varients, DDG, FfaC, or any other limited distro beers with a heavy following, they wold get a trade done.. If you are just shooting for some Gueze and not specialty, they could be had for less. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Is Drie Fonteinen easy to get in California though? Certainly isn't around here.

Some of the standards (Oude Gueuze, Zwet.be, Intense Red and occasionally Doesjel) are pretty well available...for now.

OP, if you can get Cantillon on those sites, that's the easiest way now. They used to always have loons, but people have effectively made that a challenge now, too.

My store in Venice FL recently had Cantillon, plus Framboos. What I'm in search of is a bottle of Westy!

It can be found at a few spots in Orange County, where I live, and infinitely easier than finding a Cantillon.
