Love that bottle opener!!

 

When it came to the States in bottles for the first time this year, none of my regular stores stocked it, and they wouldn't bring it in for me unless I was buying a full case. I have had it on draught a bunch of times over the years and really wanted a few bottles. Every store I called didn't have any. Via beermenus, I found a store in NY near the CT border that was selling some at an incredibly high price, and I begrudgingly bought some when I was in the neighborhood. I would have had to drive an hour to buy them at a different place with a decent price. The place was Vista Beer & Beverage and they still have them listed on beermenus, but I'd definitely call ahead if you had any plans to go there.

 

Fishing trip?

 

Found this poor guy alone in the cooler from the weekend while cleaning it out. I shall put it out of its misery now. Doesn't taste too bad, just alittle warm lol. Cheers BA's! Have a great day!

 

Starting today with SN's Kellerweis (4.32). I'm hating that I only have a single of this, it brings it...



Glad I found out about this one, I'll be getting more...

 

Some say black ipa's don't exist, but this one was very real.

Interesting. Tasty beverage for sure. But I'm in the "if I want a root beer, I'll have one" camp. Still, I could give this to many a people and they'd enjoy it.

Not bad, but Grapefruit Sculpin pulls off something similar better.

I somehow got four days in a row off from work. Just got to the shore a little while ago and decided to crack open my first Summer Love of the season.

 

I couldn't resist this pairing.

Sierra Nevada's and Victory's summer boxes were very much in sync this year. A pale ale, a wheat beer, a Kolsch-style beer, and a pilsner. It's unusual that I'd buy one summer variety pack, much less two. Very much enjoying both of these beers.

I wish. I am eating all of their Mahi, but not catching any myself. This is a water taxi out to "Crab Island". Basically the biggest salt water swimming pool in the world. I would guess it is at least 1/2 mile wide in each direction sand bar in the middle of the bay that is knee to waist high clear water.

 

Really don't get the shitty reviews on this beer. It's a good triple IPA. Enough said
