Is this only available at their brewery? I'm headed back to MI this weekend. Any chance @Tee2Grn youre available Monday in Kzoo?

 

Had mine on tap at my local about two months ago I think - not sure now...

 

I had it at Hopcat in A2. They also had the Tequila barrel version of it but I was only able to have one beer so I went with the rum. Unfortunately I won't be able to go to kzoo on Monday. It's a pretty far drive for me to do on a work day.

 

On the good news front I learned something today I'm not sure anyone else at least locally is aware of: Pizza Boy does now fill swing top growlers ON CERTAIN lines including many of their own drafts. I brought a swing top in for swapping and the girl asked which line I wanted. I asked if she would fill it and said yes any of these lines with the smaller tap will fit swing tops. You're welcome @JNForsyth @Mipper @ninjembro and a few others I know I left out.

 

Good to know, which lines are they though?

She told me I had to look and read them, and since I wasn't there to fill anything besides Alien Church I didn't look too hard. Sunshine with Lemon was on there so I think there are some quality lines.

EDIT: probably was around 10-12 choices.

 

They will crowler anything that says growler EXCEPT Tired Hands stuff.

 

Hmmmm...I have a Tired Hands swing top growler that I haven't been able to refill since they wouldn't do it there, hopefully they have something good from TH on one of those lines next time I go so I can send something to my 12 days target in #propergrowlerware.

They stopped crowlering TH stuff? Is that a carb issue? I still don't really get how that works. (At the TH cafe it's a matter of low-carb lines, period; at Al's it's up to them what level pressure they use)
