Started the night with a Negroni, cuz that shizz is awesome.

Then to this. Deck is halfway done, but enough to grill some tacos on.

Just finished a Sweetwater 420. Moved onto a mixed drink. These are for @Boca-X Weak compared to my cousins performance that will go down next month, but free entertainment nonetheless.

 

Nothing fancy, but really digging this.

I haven't had anything by Innis and Gunn although in December I had a recommendation to try their Bourbon BA Stout which I have yet to try.

 

Gone dirty today.

 

De Dolle just straight kills it. I don't think I've ever had a not great beer from them. Anything that you can easily get from them is above a 4. Even in styles that I'm not normally big on, they just transform them and make them sublime. This Belgian Strong Pale Ale is phenomenal. Hell, the foam is its own characteristic. I don't even know how old this shit is, but it's ridiculously good. Thanks to Max's for having their stuff in Gravity Kegs at least once a year.

At Suttree's in Knoxville I had Founders KBS, Founders Devil Dancer, New Belgium Oatmeal IPA, and Oskar Blues Good Game Quad. At Sweet P's I had a French Broad Kolsch.

Great! I have one of these in my cellar that I picked up at the brewery the last time I was in town for business. I've been looking for a special time to pop it open. I have the track #10 as well that I'm looking forward to.

 

Cellared 2012 Cortland Brewing Co. Bourbon Barrel Aged Flight Level 410 Barleywine. Port like, rich and wonderful.

 

Just back from a catastrophically bad date. Not only did he turn out to be married, but he has a girlfriend, too. WTF? Are there no normal people left out there? Dating sucks; beer is awesome. Happy that I can come home to this lovely brew from Pipeworks, which I can enjoy with my doggie bag from Girl and the Goat. The roasted cauliflower was excellent! Cheers!
