Passing through Tillamook next week and sadly leaving the area on Wednesday, which means I won't be able to visit the De Garde taproom. Are any bottles available locally, aside from an IP trade, at all?

Thanks for looking. Current plan for the Oregon coast trip is Pelican, Buoy, Ft. George, and whatever bottle shops / growler stations I can find along the coast.

You should be able to find some bottles along the way. I am no expert in the area but recently picked up Petit Desay and Bu Weisse at the Wine & Beir Haus in the Seaside Outlet Mall.

I believe those are the only two beers they make you will find for sale outside the brewery...pricing is pretty good though $5-7 for a 750ml bottle.

    Good luck!

And may I suggest grabbing Boneyard and Barley Browns where you see them on tap while in Oregon.

Definitely looking for Boneyard, but will keep an eye out for Barley Browns. Thanks!

You might find some Tableau Rouge, that gets some retail distro in Oregon.

To follow up, do those de garde beers get any distribution to Salem or Portland areas?

You can find Petit Desay and Bu Weisse all around Portland. John's Market and Belmont Station reliably have a couple of cases in stock. Tableau Rouge was distributed once earlier this year. I saw some bottles left at a New Seasons not too long ago but it's much harder to track down.

Awesome. Thanks. Will be there briefly in a week or so. Might be looking to do an IP at Cascade Saturday late afternoon if people are interested. I'll obviously post it though.

On a semi-related note, their new glassware is fucking awesome:

Those glasses went fast. I was planning to go Friday after work, but they were already gone. Anyone pick up 30 or so and thus have one to trade? Because I imagine some people did if they basically sold out on a Thursday afternoon

They sold out Friday just before closing.
The couple hundred folks that came out during the two days they were available were more interested than we expected. My apologies for not ordering more!

No need to apologize for sucess! Next time I'll just have to bolt from work early. Perhaps I'll feel a bit under the weather.

Anyone know the person who bought 48 of these glasses? Seems like he'd be the best person to reach out to in order to get one.

At $10 each I don't think they expected anyone to buy more than a few. But seriously, who the fuck needs 48 of them?

Hopefully a bar owner or something, rather than some jerk that's going to just flip them.

Wish I'd bothered to look at this - I went out to the coast this weekend and almost made it through Friday afternoon, but ended up Sunday instead. Still great to finally make it by and get to try some new beers, plus pick up a couple for the road.

No, it's almost certainly the latter. There are some really obsessive glassware collectors out there and, well, feel free to count the number of ISO threads are out there for this glass.
