32 and 64oz growlers for All the Hip Hops.

Small Green Everything is my favorite low ABV beer by OH. I hope we see it more often. SGE and Grimm's Super Going would be the perfect summer beer cooler imo.

I know that this post is for June 2015 but does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not there might be a can release on Saturday 7/18? I didn't know if the releases were every two or three weeks?

A little hint, just go there. Drink what they have on tap, get growlers. People are getting way too hung up on can releases.

Seriously. Buy a growler or two. Enjoy it.

Just opened my last can of Mosaic. Still taste really really good for being about 7 weeks old. Held up really well.

I have one left as well. I don't want to open it because then it means it's all gone.

Too bad, I was hoping for another single hop. What do you all keep in your fridge when the OH runs out? Big Craft has been letting me down, most recently with Lagunitas CitruSinensis, Stone July 4, and Founders Centennial. To be fair, the latter was in the shop's cooler too long.

I have been drinking the sh*t out of this Singlecut Mo Shuggie, not the best beer I ever had, but damn good and incredibly drinkable. I love OH as much as anyone, but there is so much great beer out there easy to find other stuff if OH isn't cranking out your favorite stuff.

If it's not Other Half I normally keep carton stocked. They just release dune fruit sour today.

Mo Shuggie was great the first couple bottles I had. Another bottle I got a couple weeks later lacked the fruit. It's also fairly pricey.

Badly wish we had Carton cans in NYC.

When I can't get local, I always look for fresh Sculpin, great beer.

Assuming there's a 6/27 can release, does anyone have details on what time they open and whether it's something you have to arrive to significantly ahead of opening?

Usually 10am on Saturday with line forming an hour in advance.

They will probably open at 10 AM. There will be people lining up well before then. All Green Everything sold out in 2 hours last time.

So there has not been an announcement as of yet. Anyone think there is any possibility that this could be a Thursday release? I am really hoping that it is this time.

A few quick questions guys.... has anyone commuted in from Jersey for a can release, and if so, what's the best way to get into Brooklyn. I assumed the Holland Tunnel but I'm trying to avoid paying an arm and a leg in tolls.

Through Staten Island and over the Verrazano Bridge.

Have you been to Other Half before? Cans serve their purpose and i understand why people value them , but I suggest you try to hit the tap room on any given non can day and enjoy all the great beer they have on tap. You can get growlers also. Every beer they release in cans is readily available on tap at the tap room, no reason to line-up for two hours for cans.

We all are our worst own enemies with all the wait in line hype for craft beer.

I, as well as most of us Jersey guys (Joe Piscopo included) would love to be able to hang out at OH and drink but you NYer's that live close to the brewery have to realize that sitting there and drinking a AGE, GD or any of their other great IPA's/ DIPA's they brew, and then trying to navigate the Holland, Lincoln, GW or Verrazzano Tunnels & Bridges is probably not a good idea.
Can releases are the only chance for those with a decent drive to get and enjoy OH beers. And yes, growlier fills are an option but the clock is ticking on those also once they are filled.
I predict the traffic pattern will change in the fall once Kane cans Head High and Overhead. Look for westbound traffic from BK to NJ to increase and for it to be smooth sailing through the tunnels to NYC & BK.
