They posted a pic on Instagram showing 3l bottles being filled and should be ready late this year.

3L of Monsters Park would be preferable....but that is just me. =P

 

Just to let you know Jacob there are a lot of choices as you know to buy beer in San Diego. The fact that you respond to people on this boards questions and concerns makes me buy more of your beer. Another plus is how good the beer actually is. Just wanted to let you know as I'm sure you do that your input into this website helps your business.

Not sure yet. This was a test run of 12, which makes things a little tricky. We've already ordered more for a TBD future run. This was more of a "proof of concept" type thing. But it went smoothly, and assuming the beer turns out well, we plan on doing a lot more in the future. The 3L bottles are absurdly expensive, so we didn't want to go nuts before we'd tried it on a small scale.

Thanks! Glad to hear it and I certainly appreciate the support. I do it because it's fun to talk to people who really care about what we do, and because this is how I always wanted BA to function back when I was perusing the forums before I got into the industry.

Modern Times Beer

 

Cracked a Funky Lomaland aged in red wine barrels over the weekend and it was excellent. I liked it but didn't love it at release, but I think it's really improved with a few months in the bottle. Seems to have a bit more punch and pop to it now. Glad I have a couple more squirreled away.

 

I had a bottle about a month ago and thought it was fantastic. And now I'm mad I only have one other bottle.

 

Maybe there will be some more available during anniversary. I saw some bottles to go at the Hella SF party. I should've bought some more, as I also think it developed super nicely in the bottle.

 

+1000. I think I've bought more MT beer than any other brewery in the past 12-18 months and a huge reason is the transparency that Jacob brings to this site/thread.
