    This isn't for me but...

These particular growlers run $70 plus shipping for the plain colors.
This particular one has a date on it and CCB's logo so you'll always know that this was from this event. $5 for the printing.
You get a fill of an exclusive Rum BA Dark Woods Porter. $50 (cause I know many people who would buy this beer for $25 for a 32oz fill)
    Boom $125.

I'd be sold out already if they were giving 64oz of Huna with these.

I guess you can look at it that way, but I wouldn't pay 70 bucks for a growler, empty. If it came with a ba huna variant, I would still be hesitant at $125.

Agree with the above, while I'm happy the law passed, I'm not planning on celebrating by spending $125 on a heavy jug I have to lug around. Crowlers are much better. And every time I see someone with one of these, I'll think, man that person paid $125 for that thing. But for the person who has everything....ya know

Like I stated in the first part of my statement, This isn't for me... for the reason that I'm not interested in a $70 growler.

Let's be honest, if it were filled w/ a BA huna variant, it would have sold out in minutes.

If I hadn't emptied my wallet just earlier in the day at Cycle...

Honestly, I want to see how things shake out after July 1st before I commit to purchasing ANY 64oz growlers. As it is, the growler-able beer selection in Tampa can be kind of limited at times (most non-core beers that are available for growler fills are only available in 32oz size...making owning a gallon growler a waste). If CCB starts doing 64oz fills for growler Tuesday then I am in...otherwise it'd be hard to justify even with it coming with $50 worth of BA beer.

P.S. If anyone does get one and wants to bring their BA Dark Woods to a CCB Growler Tuesday and share with me, I'd be happy to open one of those damn Cycle bottles that I just bought

As much as I'd love to try Rum BA Dark Woods, one fill doesn't make me want to spend $125 on a growler. I bought a few of the Miir Stainless ones a few years back for traveling and it turned out to be nearly worthless as most breweries wouldn't fill metal, or wouldn't fill ones without their name on it, etc. I'm not about to spend $125 for a kick ass growler that I can am limited on filling (now if it were like the El Cat version where anything goes, I'd gladly pay the price!)

Bought one. Had a few buddies go in on it with me. All split the beer at a share and everyone has access to the growler when they want it.

Shit! I would be all over this if it El Cats could get it filled with anything on tap.

@Bartos I think everyone would but one if that were the case.

Need I remind you of the Simpsons episode where Bart, Milhouse and Martin all go in together on the first issue of Radioactive Man??? Be careful, my friend.

The only reason they can do this is because there is so much excitement around growlers in Florida right now. Once the excitement wears off consumers will realize that growler fills are typically a very poor value.
