What can I say, killer brew & killer tune. That was fun last night though, although I must reluctantly concede defeat. You were right She Bop was my undoing. :-)

Oh believe me I caught up on the 90s chaos this morning. Good thing we had Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Nirvana to get us through those tough times.

Last night we showed the magic of beer.
We were able to have a passionate serious discussion regarding awful music. Without beer that type of event never occurs.
    I loved it
    Cheers!!!!

I'll keep buying Sumpin Sumpin as long as my local grocer keeps bringing it in fresh for 7.99 a six, nuff said. I'm watching Chopped with Greg Koch right now, pretty cool![IMG]

I am nearing a half century.
While I still imagine myself a young pup at times, sadly I am not

So good I got 2 more bombers at the brewery yesterday (and a new church key in Madrid, NM):

La Cumbre's Project Dank, bottled 6/17/15.

This is an excellent IPA. Cheers!

    Finishers:

Damn nice session IPA with bright grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hop flavors; with light caramel/toasted bread malt balance; with good robustness of overall flavor. Nice and crisp and fairly sticky hop finish. Saugatuck has really been impressing me with their recent new releases. Definitely been seeing a lot of overall quality improvement lately.

Still loving this year’s batch. Dank peach, mango, pineapple, lemon peel, and grapefruit hops with a big resin/piney bitterness and a crisp/sticky finish; Light crackery/bready malt presence for a bit of balance. Just and all around awesome IPA every time. Simcoe hops are the good stuff.

One of my favorite seasonal browns. Big robust flavors of caramel, toffee, chocolate, cocoa, toast, biscuit and nutty malts with balanced herbal hop and roasted bitterness on the finish. A bit more of a roasty brown ale than most, but still completely tastes like a brown ale. So delicious.

Last bottle for the now(hope it returns next year, but still have some packs lingering on local shalves). Delicious fruited porter. Flavors of raspberry, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toast, brown bread, light coffee, and light toffee; with balanced herbal hop and roasted bitterness with some minimal raspberry tartness. I was initially expecting a more fruit forward beer, but this is just a really spot on delicious porter with fruit flavors being more of a complimenting addition rather than the focus. Great Lakes never disappoints.

2013. This is drinking fantastically. The alcohol has faded considerably leaving the sweet goodness I love!
