There was what I think 4500 bottles of Darkstar? Minus 30% or so, should be around 3000 bottles. Gonna grab 6 likely

Awesome, thanks for the info & I'll see ya on the 30th. I have been eyeballing BL Instagram for details on this one since getting a taste at the Bruery party.

If possible I really hope you guys put some (moderatly high) limit at the dinner release just because I fear the backlash of another Masterpiece Eclipse event unfolding. I guess as long as I can show up at ~4PM next week and score my 6 I'll be a happy camper either way though.

You're making me nervous with that 4pm... I won't be able to make it until like 7pm. Hopefully you guys will be done with standing in line by them :stuck_out_tongue:

At most, one guy walked away with, like, 5 cases. I ended up with a case myself simply because I want to keep next Tuesday open.

The dinner was pretty rad. That rib was amazing and worth the price of admission in itself. Also, the glassware is pretty sweet.

What are the lines like typically at the brewery? Haven't been yet for a release. Do people typically line up super early?

I got there about 30 minutes early for darkstar and there was already a 100 or more people in front of me. If you've been before, the line ended right behind where the food truck would usually be parked.

That being said, they do two lines, to-go and drink here. If you just want to grab your beer and go, the line moves super quick. If you want to grab some beer while your there and get your beer, it takes a little longer.

Good lord! Where do these people store their beers? If they have that kind of cash, they must already have pretty full cellars as it is.

Probably picked up a lot for buddies/trades, but yeah storing that in the mean time would need a decent amount of room.

yeah, I took a ding in my wallet for that one case at $240 or so. I can't imagine how bad that hit the wallets of those with 6 cases.

Probably well worth it. Heard great things about this brew.

A little hot out of the bottle, compared to what I tasted from Bruery Anniversary, but still delicious.

Had a great time at the dinner, sat at the table with Wes and he mentioned that there were around 3400 bottles this time. I think that there were about 100 cases sold yesterday so there should be 2200 or so bottles remaining FYI.

Actually, it's quite simple, using your quoted price plus some simple math yields $240 x 6 = $1440.
