Just got word all three Briars will be on tap for the debut, no bottles left at the moment. La Pienture hit kegs and a few bottles not sure if it will be ready for the opening but confirmed Red, Black and Blue will all be available. Gouden Brugge is being phased out/retired soon there will be some vintage 25 oz bottles of that and maybe one more run of fresh bottles coming out too (I heard word of a retirement party for that beer). According to Tony some very cool new products are on the way but I don't think we will see them for the Biergarten opening. Wild Angels is still on tap and should be there as of opening Thursday if anyone is interested and available to try a fairly rare local Brett beer with a good amount of sourness.

I am one I've posted a few times in the last one. I live outside the city, I read this to see what's going on down there but I never go down.

I am probably headed there after work tomorrow. I can't seem to find an up to date tap and bottle list online.

Shubrew is releasing bottles of their boot camp imperial IPA next Tuesday. $9 a bottle or a case of 12 for $50.

I'm leaving for the 4th weekend on Tuesday. If anyone can grab me one, I'd offer a nice old fashioned.

There is usually a post on the message board at Http://www.draailaag.com about beers available on tap and bottle. If for whatever reason it's not listed, consider it a game time decision just how Mike Tomlin handles/discusses injuries. Vague can be a theme @ Draai Laag but things are usually interesting.

Yeah I was wondering why the discount was so steep as well.

I was kind of questioning the case price as well...
I live about 15 minute away, but have only been there a handful of times, (I do most of my drinking at home). But the times I have been there, I feel like his beers have improved each time. And the Pizzas are fantastic !!!!!!
If I had to guess, I'd say about 95% of shubrew's customers are townies (not BA's) that can walk there. Hence the low amount of ratings.

Not saying it's a fantastic plan or anything, but had a nice Saturday driving up to North Country Brewing in Slippery Rock and had an appetizer and a sampling of some beers then headed back towards home and stopped at ShuBrew for a pizza and a flight. Just an idea, if you're going to make the haul might as well try 2 places instead of one.

It has come to our attention recently that some of you are unhappy with the bottles of Blackbeard's Delight you purchased as part of your Barrel Room Collection Release III allotment. We don't want to hear this. So, we are brewing up a special batch of Breakfast of Champions with peanut butter for all of you who purchased an allotment. We've done several firkins of this at the pub and is one of the beers patrons have been clamoring for us to put into production. Once the beer is ready in the next few weeks, all you will need to do is show up to the location you picked up your allotment at and you will receive 2 4-packs of peanut butter Breakfast of Champions at no charge. No need to bring your Blackbeard's bottles with you, just bring the same ID you signed up with and you'll be good to go. You will also have the option to buy a third 4-pack at that time while supplies last. This is a one-off beer that we are brewing and bottling specifically for this occasion- it will not be available to the public at this time. We sincerely apologize that some of you are less than satisfied with your Blackbeard's Delight bottles and hope you accept this olive branch as a token of our appreciation for your faith and support in our brewery. Rest assured that we've been working hard since the last release not only increasing overall production in the brewery, but also diligently filling barrels for Barrel Room Collection releases IV and V. We've got some old favorites aging and some new beers we think you'll be excited about as well and we look forward to getting these out to you when they're ready. More details will follow once the PBBOC is packaged and ready to go.
