Im hopping my local store is able to get ONE 4 pack of Dune Fruit and if they do, Ill get ONE can. Sucks they are so far north and even right now getting from exit 4 to exit 10 on the GSP is 40 minutes, can't imagine what it'll be to go from exit 10 to exit 90 and back….

 

They aren't distributing it (and can't). They didn't get label approval for sale off premises, which is why they referred to it as 16 ounce growlers.

It's interesting and worth trying but don't go in with high expectations and it's pretty good. Definitely a polar beer from the reviews.

Haven't brewed with Brett myself, but a couple people in my homebrew club have.

1. Very paranoid. That being said, metal that doesn't have scratches shouldn't have any issues. Plastic I'd absolutely get a second set of. So fermenter pail and any plastic tubing you use, absolutely get a second set of. Brew kettle, shouldn't need. The real question is your mash tun, especially if you use a modified cooler like a lot of us do. My friends have all made a second mash tun as they're worried it'll get caught up in a kind somewhere in the drainage system for the mash run.
2. Dunno, but that sounds like a reasonable method.
3. I don't secondary anything anymore (not that I brew all that often anymore) and I wouldn't think this would be any different unless its just to try and get it to clear up off of the yeast cake or something like that.

Nice, I'm planning on trying that yeast on a rye saison soon! I've done a few beers with brett - just 1 that is bottled, the others are still aging in secondary.

1. Are you fermenting in glass or plastic? If glass, you are probably ok if you clean well. I would at minimum get separate bottling equipment though.

2/3. If you are planning on bottling I would let it go at least a few months (don't want bottle bombs) as the brett will continue to work on the sugars the primary strain can't eat. My brett saison I pitched regular saison yeast and then transferred to secondary after fermentation was mostly complete and added brett from bottle dregs. Turned out really well.

Looks like we have some good info, but can never hurt to have more, so I'll tag in @FATC1TY.

I'll also second (third?) getting some extra equipment, but on the plus side it's only from the point where you pitch forward you need to worry about. If you're worried about cost, even if you usually use glass fermenters you can always get a (cheap) plastic one just for brett batches. Bottling equipment is also on the inexpensive end.

I'm super paranoid, so I'd recommend getting duplicate gravity testing equipment as well, even if you usually dump your samples, if just one time you put a sample back in the fermenter, there goes that whole batch for the sake of a test tube or hydrometer.
