The munhall/waterfront does and with the luxury seating areas makes it a nice out especially a night without kids.

Thanks. Was really just curious. Still trying to keep everything straight with all of these breweries.

Yeah Loews does but the Cinemark theaters don't. Those luxury seats are awesome.

The Manor has a decent beer selection too actually. Better than the dumb Waterfront.

And Row House in Lawrenceville is super fun for classic movies and good beer.

I don't remember the Manor serving beer for some reason, but that's cool that they do.

And I can't believe I forgot about Row House since I was at the bottle shop just last Saturday (first time inside), drinking a few beers downstairs before eating at Smoke which was next door.

I guess its been like 3 years since I've seen a movie there, but they did at the time. Maybe it's changed since then. I usually just go to Squirrel Hill for Everyday Noodles.

I honestly never take notice since I hardly ever get concessions when I go to the movies. I just remember seeing wine being offered for some reason. This conversation reminds me of John Travolta in Pulp Fiction:

"Well, you can walk into a movie theater in Amsterdam and buy a beer. And I don't mean just like in no paper cup, I'm talking about a glass of beer."

Everyday Noodles kicks ass too. It might be the best bang for your buck restaurant in Pittsburgh.

I know it's not the city, but the new Cinemark out at McCandless Crossing is absolutely insane. The lobby could be compared to a mall food court, and they have a beer/wine stand with great craft selection. Only around $5-6 for a beer too which I found incredibly affordable for a movie theater. You can also buy multiple drinks at once so you don't have to leave the movie as often.

I saw the latest Hobbit movie there and pounded Hop Devils the whole time. Obviously, a major downside to this is having to piss and navigating your way through a row packed full of people in a pitch black movie theater while buzzed and wearing 3D glasses.

I only go out to see movies a couple times a year, but IMO this theater is worth the trek.

PS I didn't specify, but unlike other major chain theaters I've been to that serve alcohol, you do not have to have "luxury seats" or anything to take your drinks into the theater. Just run out to the lobby, grab a beer, and run back in.

I've been there twice and I had no idea they had beer. Shows how much I pay attention to concessions at the movies.

Haha same here - but I'd much rather spend $5 on a great beer than $6 on a small bag of peanut M&Ms.

We used to go to the movies all the time but we never go anymore. Pretty sure the last time I went was when my wife drug me out to see the last Hunger Games movie.

Kids ruined my ability to go to adult movies; last one I saw in theaters was...In Bruges? Which was at Manor. Sadly, I drank no beer.

I fucking love that movie...I hope Colin Farrell reprises a bit of that character for his role in the upcoming True Detectives episodes...

Yeah, the one downside for me of drinking and watching a movie is that I'm one of those dudes that has to use the restroom a lot when I drink beer. Definitely not something I would do for a movie I haven't seen.

I feel like I'm crazy. The last time I saw a movie multiple times in the theaters was probably 20 years ago when I was a little kid, but I've seen Mad Max: Fury Road three times in theaters. It's one of the most insane pieces of action filmmaking I've ever seen and I don't think I'll ever see another action movie as good as this in my life.
