My brother's coming over to smoke some ribs this afternoon. Getting the smoker ready now and looking forward to cracking the Long Trail 25th Anniversary bomber I have in the fridge.

Reuben's Brews might be the best brewery in Seattle now. Everytime I try one of their beers I am blown away. This one is their Crikey IPA.

Todays looking pretty nice thus far. Might actually get a chance to bbq! Stupid rainy summer days. Although its still pretty windy, and sorta chilly for almost July. W.e. I'll take it.
    Cheers!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite go-to session IPAs. Bright grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hop flavors; with light caramel/toasted bread malt balance; and good robustness of overall flavor. Nice crisp and fairly sticky hop finish, with balanced bitterness. They really did a great job with this one combining a good complex malt bill to provide adequate sweetness; with Simcoe, Centennial, Citra, and Motueka hops to load up the hop complexity. Glad this is a year round, because I’ll be buying it again.

Amazing gose. Flavors of huge tart cherry and lemon/lime/green apple fruitiness; with moderate wheat/crackery malt and coriander/sea salt spice. Awesome sweet/acidic/saline balanced finish. Super drinkable. Glad I was able to find a couple more 4 packs for now. I am going to load up on this stuff next year for sure.

Really delicious Belgo IPA as usual. Big apricot/pineapple/mango/melon/tangerine/grapefruit hops and banana/clove yeast; with moderate light caramel/toasted bread malt with a nice spicy yeast/hop bitter finish with great balance. They just bottled a new batch so I’ll be buying it again soon, I think this was my last bottle.

Still tasting fantastic. Bright grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with some light caramel/toasted bread malt balance and a bit of fruity pear/apple yeast earthiness. Balance bitter finish with light creaminess and stickiness in the mouthfeel. I am constantly amazed how clean they can make their IPAs while using English house yeast. It’s noticeable but not totally obvious.
