    Heavy seas has been hitting it out the park with barrel aged. Not too overpowering. It looks like you may be hitting it out the park with the food.

    Spot on. I did have a "thick" cut, but not the thick cut that I like for the griddle or grill. If you are not paying attention to it (looking at WBAYDN for example:wink:) it becomes expensive dog treats fast.

    A 2 year old Matilda. Pepper, peach, and funk. At 1 year I remember this being very vibrant and citrus forward. At 2 years this has completely changed again by mellowing out. Having had a 6 year Matilda, it has a certain shelf life(it became oxidized and had a grosser funk), so I will drink these at 2-5 years if I ever purchase more Matilda. This is extremely enjoyable.

    Ah...Sweet Sunday BA's....

    Up since 4:30...cranked out some work-related docs to free up my mind so I could pursue the finer aspects of life (beer, pool, beer, pool)...and family later (house/space freed up for 5 hours or so....gotta love the freedom to libate and peruse and post and chill)

    I have been remiss in my obligation on BA's site...to live/love and accept BA transgressions. I have been a bitch on site about fellow BA's who can't/don't/won't understand the beauty of, and moral obligation to, the spirit and intent of the "N" in WBAYDN. I know this practice rankles other BA's as well, as referenced in random/isolated posts at times. However, I realize this is my issue to grapple with, and no fellow BA'r owes me anything in this realm. Upon much reflection, and high-cost professional consultation, my therapist has directed me to make amends to those who I got pissy about. As such, with much regret, profound psychological self-flagellation and sincere apologies, I offer the following, as a sign of peace, love and understanding (no pics, just text...lest I overload a singular post)

    WBAYDLN (last night)....Old Rasputin
    WBAYDY (yesterday)...Drake's Drakonic Imperial Stout
    WBAYDLT (Later today)...SN Hoptimum
    WBAYDT (tomorrow)...21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon
    WBAYTAD (thinking about drinking)...Ten Fidy (but too early)
    WBDYWYWD (do you wish you were drinking)...Pliny the Elder

    Oh yeah...WBAYDN??
