6. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials hit a homerun? NOPE
   
7. Will a player that shares my daughter’s first and last initials record a win or a save? NOPE
   
8. How many total runs will be scored? Correct guess will get 3 points, the five closest guesses will get 1 point each. 135

7. Will there be a save or blown save? NOPE
   
8. Will there be at least 2 homeruns hit by one team in the same inning? NOPE

What was the honest opinion of the Blackberry Sour? Looks like it was enjoyed with some big hitters.

 

Ended up being a pretty crazy night. The sour was nice after a ton of huge beers.

Honest thoughts: super sour. Not overwhelming, but very tart. No where near Upland Kiwi which I thought might strip my enamel. That said, this isn't a wild or tart saison... It is a sour. I found it quite enjoyable (as did the other guys there who appreciate sours). Not crazy acidic either which helped.

TON of muddled fruit. Like, pretty sure I could baste my toast with it. That was a positive for me, and the blackberry really came through for it. I would definitely seek out more fruit sours from them!

I have no previous tastings to compare to, but it's really hard for me to imagine it being any better younger or older... To my taste it was pretty much perfect. The guy who brought it traded for it 1:1 with Blackberry Cut. If I had more than 1 bottle, that's a trade I would likely entertain myself (don't worry Devin, I haven't forgotten the rules, it was just that good)... Truly impressive.

Then again, rumor is that Armand was ticking the Cut the other night, and had extremely positive things to say, so...

At least they announce their releases in advance. Maybe it'll be a good excuse to visit one day.

 

Back from a fun weekend in Maryland. Spent time with some of my non-BA friends down there I haven't seen in a while, and detoured to @_RL_ 's place for a share, though I didn't get to stay incredibly long (4 hours or so, still got to try ~20 beers, though the brewery day stouts I probably had at most one ounce of each, knowing I had to drive). That was a lot of fun too (thanks again for hosting and having me over), swapped #pickitupformebros and came back with a fresh sixer of wings (first time getting wings, haven't tried yet probably won't get to until tuesday) and Solar Abyss (tried this at the share, tasty as hell but very onion-y) and also picked up a sixer of double duckpin (not exactly the freshest at a early may canning, but I was told I should pick it up anyway as I've not had it)

 

Anyone know if @Dave_Treat is out of town or anything? I noticed he hasn't been very active recently. Was hoping to send out my LIF box to him this week, but haven't heard back from him.

 

Dave is canoeing or kayaking or some such...

 

Carton is doing a tap take over at a local restaurant. They are tapping Dune Fruit @4pm, I have to be in work @4pm, btw today is my day off. Just my luck.
