    Saw them on that tour in Bristow VA. I don't normally go to a lot of big arena shows, but it was Moving Pictures live, so what are you gonna do? It was amazing, like always.

    On topic: Finishing a "review" Weihenstephaner Original. So damn good!

    Evening, all!

    Came home from my office and a rather shitty and busy typical Monday.....then, boom, I noticed a plastic bag wrapped small box on my back porch next to my sunroom.....

    Holy hell! I got "porch bombed" by Shane @Sixpoint ! How freakin' cool is that? He sent me a message a few weeks ago, asking for my address....thought he was sending me a piece of SP glassware I do not have....inside the box were 2 glasses, and a sixer of very fresh Bengali (just canned 8 days ago!)....and some stickers!

    Had no choice but to open one of these bad boys and enjoy it!! This kind of customer care and reaching out to your customers in today's world is very rare! Totally awesome!!

    IPA Reduction Initiative launched, part deux. This beer was one of the "fork in the road" beers in my beer nerd journey: an IPA with massive, piney, citrusey hops - and a Scottish malt that adds toffee and caramel flavors that kick this up another 20 notches or so, IMHO. For a beer that's readily available (and getting readily-er available - or more widely available) and at a great price point, this is Beer Nerdvana. Have a magnificent Monday, BA's.

    I can tell by the posts this I going to be a great beer week. Unfortunately I am not on vacation. Gonna make it feel like it though. Drinking this CD while getting ready to ta grill some mahi with avacado/lemon/caper vinaigrette, porcini risotto and broccoli slaw. Drink up ![​IMG]

    I can seamlessly go from Rush to Slayer - love it all!

    I really debated hard on whether or not to take my 11 year old to see Rush in NOVA a few weeks back but it just didn't work out. I fear this will be their last hoorah.

    Lots of talk this being their last tour. I've been lucky enough to see them 4 times, but prices were just too much for this last tour... I have plenty of good memories though, so I am good. Who knows what the future holds for those guys. :slight_smile:
