Evening BA. I'm sipping on a '12 Darklord outside while I wait for some nasty thunderstorms to roll in. Hopefully everyone is safe out there, lots of areas getting hit hard. Cheers!

I feel like I had to wait for months for this to finally hit the local shelves but it was definitely worth the wait.

Goes well as I return to one of my favorite albums from the '90's.

Enjoying an awesome off day with mostly good weather all day, even got to go golfing in the morning and it wasn't 100 degrees!

Trying to figure out what movie to watch now.

Drinking this disaster... I have a major urge to chalk it up as a loss and drain pour.

First up was a fav of mine that I haven't had in a while; Rogue Chocolate Stout. I'm now sipping on a Listermann Quaff Bros Brown Chicken Brown Cow. If only it had a decent level of carbonation instead of nearly none.

The forums have been blowing up with Brett on everyone's mind. Popped a 6 month old Vert and it was good.

Mikkeller is hit or miss and I am having trouble deciding my opinion on this beer (see other thread in Beer Talk)

Back for another bottle of the fantastic Citra DIPA from Noble Ales. Loved the first one and am happy to say I'm loving my second pass with this. It's really fresh so the Citra dominated nose and flavor profile are fully engaged. Perfect on a beautiful summer evening here in the Shore.

    Cheers.....

Knocking out some Spanish studying with a Saint Arnold Elissa, looking forward to putting down the books later and popping an Espresso Oak Aged Yeti. I've got this playing on repeat.

    Cheers amigos!

Pours with very little head, sweet lactose aroma, creamy mouthfeel w/ little to no carb, big calcium taste up front with a smooth bovine finish.

I had a bottle from the first batch, and while a great IPA, the coffee didn't play much of a role. A new case came in today, and the coffee is a much bigger participant this time around.

    Cheers!

Aside from the carbonation, how is that Brown Chicken Brown Cow? I managed to snag the very last bottle of it a couple days ago (hoping it will be the second coming of BBC's Bourbon Barrel Big Brown).
