Damn....this makes me thirsty! Gotta pick me up some Steam!

Been trying (unsuccessfully) to get some Double Liberty and Liberty Ale in cans - a-hole distributor in our area "did not pick them up"....wtf?? Some distributors really suck....!!

Nice beer and way to test out the fiancée by moving in and immediately leaving for a week. Good luck with that. Like the Ithaca sign. Will be on their patio in 3 weeks to the day. Cheers

Was at this brewery in Riga, Latvia. Their house Amber. I now appreciate true European beer.

The beer is local - Ghost River Brewing's "Golden Ale". Wheaty with a little floral finish. OK.

Only a couple of days left and these things blow up on the 4th you know. Still not convinced it doesn't taste different than all the other Enjoy By [IMG]

Damn this is tasting fine on a very cool July day that's struggling to reach 70 degrees. This would drink well if it was 90, and may be the perfect 'summer' barrel aged beer. Raspberry fruit and mild bourbon on the nose, semi tart berries with just a hint of heat going down. Beautiful color and quite refreshing for being barrel aged. I need to know more about what barrel was used and how long? Everything plays together nicely in this bottle!

Agreed! Actually when I first tried it I liked it a lot, but I think it was placebo/hype talking. Rest of the four pack felt pretty mediocre for almost $4/can. Honestly I've found all of ET's offerings fairly lackluster for the price so far; not that they're bad, but not coming close to matching the price tag.
