French blonde---what brewery is this?

    I recently picked up a bottle of "8" Bieres Lepers Blonde at Jungle Jim's which under it says
    "La Chapelle d' Armentieres" but attributes it on the back to Brasseire Lepers. It was such a nice
    brew I picked up 4 more bottles, and while it strikes me as a Biere de' Garde it comes off as a very
    unique blonde. Being as I am somewhat lack luster at trying to understand French words which is it?
    Brewed by d' Armentieres or Lepers, and is that brewery on here???? Figured the wise folks here could
    easily point me in the right direction.

    I should also note it was a closeout for 2.99 a bottle which is fantastic for such a lovely brew

    I thought the same thing, but am unsure what D'Annoeulin has to do with Lepers....from recollection their beers were totally different with label and alcohol content.

    when i wrote that "one of their beers is listed" i meant the Angelus. the label and ABV for "Angelus" is identical between the lepers and annoeulin versions.

    According to the 'Rockford Files" episode 7 "Quickie Nirvana" season 4, the sound of one hand clapping is when a hand smacks another persons face. :wink:

    That's it! Will check out the other bottles I have and give it a whirl. The French part of the language barrier is a bit of a problem to moi, especially when it is not listed. Also bought a L' Angelus for the holiday weekend, and from looking at the website I am looking forward to it.
