Sup w/ them? Not a lot of info on their website or facebook. Anywhere to find taplists or bottle availability? What's a visit to their location like? I'm also curious about their honey saison/wild for a tasting..

It's my understanding that Intangible Ales is a side project of one of the brewers of Pizza Boy. Their bottle distribution follows the same footprint as Pizza Boy does, as far as draft goes I'm not too sure where to find it other than Pizza Boy's tasting room possibly.

From what I understand they are essentially an offshoot of Pizza Boy. Same head brewer I believe. Not sure if it's similar to the HF/grassroots thing, but I know there is for sure a connection to Pizza Boy.

Only beer I've tried from Intangible was Future Primitive. A pretty good/decent funky saison. I've got one in the cellar to see what happens with some age.

Intangible Ales is a "side project" started by Terry (brewer at Pizza Boy) and his Fiancee Kristen. I don't think they have had any draft offerings except their collaboration with St. Somewhere. Their bottles have seen some distribution, but it has been pretty limited. The best way to get their bottles is going to Al's of Hampden/Pizza Boy. All of their beers are fermented with Brett.
Acidulated Hive is awesome! I still have a bunch of bottles of it.

If you follow them on Instagram, they will sometimes send out pics where bottles have been spotted or will be shipped. I think bottles have been spotted in NEPA and Philly previously. Definitely worth seeking out!

Get Juxtapose if you can find it. Their best beer released by far.

Did you see what they were charging?

I did not, they were $15/each wholesale price at the release, any left over were being sold at retail price so 16-18-20?

Pretty much what everyone in this thred has said is spot on. To clarify Intangible Ales is a side project of Terry Hawbaker (Pizza Boy's head brewer) and his fiance Kristen. All of the beers focus on the farmhouse style and are fermented with Brett. There is no physical location and the beers are brewed and aged at Pizza Boy just packaged differently. Pretty much all of the beers will be bottled and releases at Pizza Boy. Very small amounts see distro to Philly and NEPA. There are a few great ones coming including a few barrel aged offerings, when the bottling crew full of slap dicks gets to work

Future Primitive had an aroma that I can only describe as half redbull, half sweettart, it was amazing. The taste didn't really stack up though. I need to get out to Enola anyway, maybe I can get some IA bottles.
