Commercially, train simulation software. Not that exciting, more of a niche market but it relates to history and has a lot of research which was my first degree. Been working on my own game slowly. I enjoy board games but haven't heard of an art gallery game Hopefully it's not Jeffery Loria's Major League Marlins Art Extravaganza! : D

 

LOL no it's called The Gallerist by a dude who's designed a couple of other solid if complex euro-ish-style games. The Kickstarter campaign just finished today, so it'll probably be ready for release in a couple of months. I see a lot of train simulation stuff popping up all the time on steam and am always somewhat blown away with how well they seem to do especially considering how expensive each expansion seems to be. Sounds like it's a pretty fulfilling job overall, too, so congrats!!
