I made my first trip out there this past week. Got their Lights On, but Julius was only on tap and kicked after the first 2 people in line.

I'm from Binghamton, so Galaxy Brewing (especially Andromeda) is my hometown favorite. I also live only an hour from Ithaca, (plus Saranac, Middle Ages, Three Heads, and so much more)so getting to say that Flower Power is local is pretty cool.

Anything from Firestone Walker/Barrelworks (Buellton CA). Though "fresh" may not be the word to use when talking about barrel aged sours, they are only available there in Buellton (I think), so that might count.

love it when I find Peekskill Brewery's Eastern Standard for growler fills local like I did on Friday, or Amazeballs and their other beers when I actually at their brewery

Old Mecklenburg Captain Jacks Pils, really outstanding. Would have been HDR before they suckified it.

I have enjoyed every beer I have had from Port City Brewing, but there are several local breweries I have yet to try.

It's a 3 way tie between Kane Overhead, Head High and Carton 077XX.

Here in the Austin area, it's Live Oak Hefe. After 15+ years, it's still only available on tap. The beer equivalent to fresh squeezed lemonade...

Mines close to this, but I would put overhead just a little over the other 2, which are tied for a close second. Regardless they are all amazing ipa's

In Charleston, my old hometown, it's fresh COAST Boy King. In Honolulu, where I currently live, still haven't found one after being here for a year.

My new favorite local beer is probably Real Ale Full Moon IPA. I do like going to Austin Beerworks on the weekend for a Black Thunder or Pearl Snap too. Then there's also (512) IPA and Live Oak Hefeweizen and then there's always Pinthouse Pizza and their fallen cask selection and... OK, truth is there are a lot of local beers I like.
