ISO: Gose Gone Wild. Anyone have any leads on this one?

 

Did they release gose gone wild again? This was one of my favorites beers of last year.

And I'd much rather do the 6:30 AM than the asshat that always calls the 5:00 meeting because it's "the only time that looked like we were all available" - sigh... Cutting into my ticking time. LOL

 

I don't get a lot of 5:00 start times, but plenty of 4/4:30 "quick" meetings that run well past quittin time!

I'm looking for recommendations of nice small towns and good restaurant/bar/lodging in northern/beach NJ. I have a race the morning of of the 18th a little north of Trenton. thanks!

 

BM with me details. I should be able to help you out. Beach and Trenton are on opposite sides of the state though.

 

If you're near the beach at about that latitude is Brickwall Tavern, I enjoyed a good burger and some nice tap selections there. Check the hours for Kane and Carton's locations, they don't have the best hours but if they're open when you're there I'm told it's worth the trip.

I also second Dennis' point about Trenton/beach being at opposite sides of the state, probably a good 45 minutes' drive time. If you're in Trenton with the flexibility to do 45 minutes' worth of driving, consider coming into PA instead of heading toward the beach, as far as I can tell there's a lot more options on my side of the river.

 

I'll see if I can drum up a bottle, but that stuff was scarce even in Maryland. And they have not released a second batch. If they do, I should be able to get a bottle set aside for me. It's yours if that happens.

 

All true, but you probably aren't going to want to stay in Asbury Park, Ocean, or even Atlantic Highlands. Red Bank isn't far from any of them and has a nice downtown as well...or again, BM me, I grew up not far from Red Bank.

 

I'll definitely defer to your expertise in these areas; I was in that neck of the woods at the tail end of the season so not a lot was going on. @Devman171 see above for my edited point about driving 45 minutes from Trenton, you might consider the opposite direction.

 

I am thinking the Texans must be amused by this...
