    Happy Thursday BA's!

    One of my all time favorite brews.....love this beer!
    Heading back east to visit my gf later today, hope to find some Double Liberty and Liberty Ale in cans as well

    Hard to imagine this beer came out 40 years ago, in 1975.....happy birthday, Liberty!!

    Good morning all. Hot and steamy this morning in Charleston, SC - 78 degrees and 90% humidity in the Holy City at 7:45. Thanks for getting thread started, I still haven't figured out how to do that...

    Had this at the brewery 2 months ago and it is very good. Strong whiskey aroma and flavor up front and as liquid warms more toffee and bittersweet dark chocolate. The oakiness comes in at the finish, with a healthy boozy bite (13.5%).

    Today we will head downtown and shop on King Street and probably hit up a favorite restaurant or two. Cheers!

    Thanks for the bottle shop recommendation in Southern Pines, NC! Couldn't do the brewery you suggested, but this shop was one of the best I've been in across the southern USA. Draft beer on tap for tasting and/ or growler fills too. I bought 16 bottles, including this morning's submission.

    A new IPA from the City of Subdued Excitement. Went up to hang out with some old homies at Locust Beach and Porter FINALLY got into the water intentionally for the first time since I've had her!! She was so happy. I hope this is the start of her love affair with swimming, because she's made up of mostly water dogs and I think she'll love it (plus it'll tire her out!)
    Picked this up while up in the 'Ham, and glad I finally did. Straight forward, enjoyable, I dig it.

    Thanks! I've read this multiple times since joining ... I will try your much appreciated tips. My struggle is most of the time I'm traveling and trying to participate vis a vis iPhone. I have an iPad (on which I'm typing right now) but infrequently have wifi and can use infrequently. Oh yeah, and I'm a Luddite.

    Drinking a Stone ruinTen and bottling a super hopped homebrewed pale ale. better slow down on the RuinTen. The high abv is quickly becoming apparent.
