The voice of two experts is hard to ignore; but the question is will it go upward or downward from here? Having just had a bottle last night I'd prefer to spread it out a bit, but not at the expense of it heading downward.

I am glad you liked that one and I think I rated it a 4.5 as well. This is my local so I am admittedly a homer so it is quite validating to hear you honestly enjoyed it as much as you did blind. Cheers bud glad we are off to a good start looking forward to see what is in store this evening

Here's how I predict it going. At the end of the 12-days, you'll be thinking to yourself "Shit...I've just had 4 Casey Brews in the last week. I should probably hold off on this one for a bit and spread out the joy" ...then over the next week @Kramerbarthomer and my comments will gnaw at your subconscious, till you're unable to eat, sleep, function. The batch 1 Saison will be like a beating heartbeat from your cellar floor.

Then you'll drink it, and enjoy it, and then wish you had more of it, and feel slightly ashamed of what just happened....get your earmuffs out of the gutter guys, I'm talking about beer!

For the fact that in addition to the one I had yesterday, and the one I'll have today, apparently there are two MORE Casey brews waiting for me. #killingit

I will be in KoP on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe we could open our bottles together.

 

I've said it once...and I'll say it again! Casey has easily worked it's way into my top 5 favorite breweries. The mouthfeel is ridiculous. I have a friend on here who is a member and he hooks me up every once in a while with some of the great offerings! If any of you haven't tried any Casey yet...do yourself a favor and get on that!

 

No Casey Sat or Sun, but you should go on Saturday for the lulz...

 

I'm off the Ft Wash exit of the turnpike (two east of KoP) so pretty nearby. Let me know what you're up to and when, but know that I probably won't be able to leave the house much. I'll see what I can talk the boss into in terms of having someone over.

Hmmmmm..... I'm starting to form a clearer picture of what's inside my Saturday "birthday" wrapping paper, and what the "don't open until you're told" is all about......

I don't want to interrupt the birthday celebrations, but I will send you a message this weekend and see what you are up to. I will be at my girlfriend's house- so she would be with me.

 

If only you knew how little was going on that could be described as "birthday celebrations".... the issue is not that, it's that my wife works nights on the weekends and it's on me to take care of the kids, with 4/2/0-year-olds, this is no easy task, but does not preclude opening a bottle or two. The question is whether the boss is cool with me adding "outside people" (ie anyone that is not immediate family, who come and go as they please) on any given day.

 

So today's beer was a real puzzler and I mean that. So I get home and felt the package (yea yea) and almost was certain it was a Crowler. As I try to figure out how to pour it without seeing what it was I came to a standstill. I was slowly unwrapping it and it became clear it want a Crowler but two cans stacked on top of each other. Or was it? I decided to close my eyes to open the can and pour it except another problem. It wasn't two cans it was one big can. I finally gave up trying to sneak it and then I laughed and picked the #properglassware:
