    TGIF, beer peeps!

    Made it to NJ late last night, after an 8 hour drive / push after work....stopped 3 times on I-80 in PA for "construction" or some such shit....took nearly an hour longer than usual....bleah

    Recycled pic, from a day ago, but enjoying this now as my phone is charging....another one I brought back from last Sunday's visit to Columbus....Rhinegeist makes some great stuff! Hope they come to NE Ohio soon!

    GF went off to work and I have all morning to .....wait for it......beer shop!! Yahoooo...hope we can make it to Kane this weekend, but with a couple of teenage kids in the house, that may not happen...

    Why, look....a grocery store in Ohio who doesn't have it's head up its butt (Heinen's this means you!), with this "controversial" beer on the shelves!! (Heinen's pulled this beer recently from NE Ohio as a few people complained)

    Happy Friday! Starting off the morning with a new wicked weed release. Honeysuckle, elderflower, and hyssop. Has a good amount of brett character, although I wouldn't say it was "tart", in any way, shape or form. Good liquid!

    Goose Island IPA at O'Hare on my way home. Not the greatest beer, but the best thing on tap here :slight_frown:

    there's a goose island bar at O'Hare. Usually has some of the belgian style offerings on tap. IIRC, it's in terminal #1. you should fly out of midway, much better beer selection:wink:

    I almost always hit the goose island pub here, but I had a pretty short layover. Just found out my flight is delayed two hours, hopefully they still have Matilda on tap!
