I want to also say that doing these blind tasting had me lower my rating of regular Aphrodite and up my rating of BA Aphrodite. this is why I love this!

Glad you liked it dude! I was able to try this beer due to a luck of chance and hoarded a bottle I received from a RTP for several years. When I saw it on you wants I knew you would enjoy it so cheers! One less bottle in my "box of beers in my cellar that will probably never actually be drank."

So here was day 5's offering. Another big want of mine! It was soo sweet, maybe a little too sweet but still enjoyable


Day 6 really hit the spot. I had such a long (and bad) day and wasn't really in the mood for a beer, I just wanted to sleep. But after looking at myself in the mirror and telling myself to "stop being a little bitch and drink that beer," I did!

With how well my sender (@UcDru ) is killing it, it makes me feel twice as good to know that you're thoroughly enjoying your beers!

#VBS Day #7

Hunter Vanilla! I got to share it with my brother who i see far less than i should. We both loved it.....but unfortunately it got put in the fridge by him. Very good and got even better as it warmed. I am trying to show my brother the beauty of stouts and sours and this one helped immensely.

Superstition is like that too. Some of the meads are insanely amazing and some are kinda duds.
its right next door to mostly forgettable brewery that produces a couple of nice IPAs.

 

@Dave_Treat . So tomorrow night is my wife's favorite beer from a moderately local brewery this year. It's one of a series based on the same base beer. Hope you like the subtle peppery notes brought on by this Anything-but-pepper adjunct!

 

Cinderella is looking real good right now..........I'm gonna try and get her number.

Day 7 Part 2 - Caffé Americano from CCB. Amazing brew! Coffee is strong but not overpowering. This and the MZ are making a superb lineup for a Friday night.
