here's your chance to come clean. What do you do that you know would be looked down on by your fellow BAs? For example my wife bought me some "freezable" beer glasses and I didn't have the heart to tell her, then, one hot day, I poured a two-hearted into it while we sat out back and... I kind of enjoyed it.

Now every once in a while, on hot days with common or session IPA, I'll pour a few into my electric blue plastic Pilsner glass and suck down some cold, slightly less flavorless but strangely enjoyable suds.

So what's your confession? Drink ten fidy out of the can? Pliny straight from the bomber? This is a judgement free zone and your sins shall be forgiven!

I once drank Pliny from a solo cup. I justify it by pointing out that it facilitates the aromatics much better than drinking it straight from the bottle.

I also drink beer from regular pint glasses sometimes. :grimacing:

^ I've done the same! You can take good beer to a party, but you can't take your glasses too.

I bring old people for mules, I ask restaurant workers, I help hobo's out on their pilgrimages. I buy cases now. I rate a lot of stuff 4.5-5's and of course, I tend to shut people down on dumb ss comments.

I've done the Pliny from a solo cup fairly recently. Also had HF BoT from a similar vessel but I had never tried that one and someone was sharing it so beggars can't be choosers haha

I've done many beers from solo cups when I have friends over. I'm not going to dirty up 8+ glasses. Most recent was espresso oak aged yeti and it look awesome in the solo cup to be honest.

I haven't done this yet, but I fully intend to. I am planning to make beer bread using a combination of Ghost Face Killah and Edmund Fitzgerald. I want to see how the chili beer contributes to the overall heat level; however, GFK has no body to speak of, so I want to supplement it with a heavier beer.

Then after measuring out six ounces of each for the batter, I plan to pour the remainder together and drink it.

I'm a big advocate of filling the bong with Cantillon Fou' Foune.

I routinely drink from a pint glass.

I have been known to drink highly rated 22s straight from the bottle for no other reason than sometimes I like drinking from a bottle. Someone please shoot me.

My dwindling number of friends never mentioned to me, that bringing the appropriate glassware to a party, was taboo.

I chill all my beers down probably too cold, but then again, I usually buy sippers so it is interesting to see the evolution as they warm.

People really have problems with drinking from pint glasses? I've never encountered this.

Yesterday I went into a local beer store and asked if I could split a 4 pack of Heady Topper and buy just two cans. Guy looked at me funny and said "I'm gonna have to check because no one ever asked that before."

I mostly own shaker pints and have no problem using them in lieu of beer specific glasware. Hey, if i can smell the beer, get great lacing and enjoy the beer in the end, what does it matter what it's served in?

I think the dumber question is why did you only want two cans ?!
