    It's good to be home! This morning I'm trying Stone's "Old Guardian-Extra Hoppy" (2015):

    Bottled 1/23/15 with an ABV of 11%.

    First one of these I've tried. Toffee and pine/hops. Boozy. Slick mouthfeel. After 6 months the caramel malt foundation is about even with the "hoppiness" here...in another 6 months we will see what's left of the hop vs. the "barley wine" style. I like the current juxtaposition of malt and hops. I look forward to see how these age!

    The day is young, and so much to do today (you should see the box of mail that has collected in last 3 months!). Cheers!

    Morning Everyone , Taking a Day off from Drinking Today. ( But well see how long that REALLY lasts )
    Just thought I'd share a couple pic's from yesterday, Enjoyed Hanging out with some good friends
    and the rest of the Bleacher Bum's at Wrigley .. Been along time since I sat out there.

    Got a Decent Pic of me and Momma ( I was about 8 Deep ) by then and the Game hadn't even started yet.

    One of Many 312's I put away yesterday. ( even had someone ask, " Did you just take a pic of your Beer? " )
    I was like " Yup " I always take pics of my beers .. so all my Peeps on Beer Advocate can enjoy them.
    a Guy over heard me and gave me a thumbs up ... Someone Apparently know something about BA.

    I lived about 90 minutes from the Bitburger brewery when I was stationed in Germany...I love that beer

    I have not had this beer in a long time. The date on the box said best before october 3 2016. That's pretty fresh I think. Here is the beer.

    So sweetly golden. A shower of sun. Dough and gentle herbs to fill the nose and then the stem. In the drink is the sap. Kind softness, a touch sweet. Forgiving bitter.
