Your Favorite Beer Drinking Game?

A local bar has a game called Sink The Biz. It really only works with cheap beer but there is some skillz involved.

If you want to get seriously shit faced do this. Watch a college basketball game (because the NBA sucks). Pick a team. If the other team scores you take a drink. If your team turns the ball over or misses a shot you take a drink.

 

I haven't played it in years, but the card game, "asshole", was a favorite in my youth.

 

I like to play "Drink The Beer"...I pour a fresh one and drink it before I have another one. I always win!!!

 

We used to listen to the song Roxanne by The Police and drink every time they said Roxanne.

 

The "Hi Bob" game from the old Bob Newhart Show...anytime someone said Hi Bob, it was time to drink

 

Slap cup is always a good time, but in the end, beer pong will always reign supreme for me. My friends and I have spent many a night being overly competitive and trash talking each other over this great game.

Watch any of the old Chevy Chase "Fletch" movies from the 80's... drink every time he uses a new name.

 

I play a game where I can see how many times I can get someone to get me a beer from the cooler/fridge before I get up and get one for myself.

 

My favorite drinking game was Spades... used to involve a couple 40's of Blue Bull and a lot of shit-talking!

 

Beersbie is the best followed up beer darts as a close 2nd.

 

Quarters.

 

Asshole, circle of death, and moose were favorites in my college days. And beer pong of course

 

We just replayed zigy zogy zigy zogy from The Man Show over and over and matched their drinks.

 

Beer Die (Dice)...It was OK because it actually was fairly involved and you had to find a good partner...like beer pong but harder and more complex...I'm not really a beer game guy though, unless it's beer sprinting...

 

Kegball in college was a blast, but you need about 2 teams of 8-10 people.
Basically whiffle ball, but every player has to have a cup of beer in their hand. If the cup is empty, that player is deemed ineligible until their cup is refilled.

The keg is home base by the way.

 

Chandelier.



The version we played back in the "old days" (circa mid-80s) was with a quarter instead of a ping pong ball. If you bounced the quarter into an individual player's cup, that player had to drink (about 1/3 of a beer). If you bounced the quarter into the chandelier cup, everyone (including the quarter bouncer) had to drink their beer as fast as possible, then slam their cup down and shout, "Yippee!" The last player to shout, "Yippee!" had to chug the full beer that was in the chandelier cup.

We played with 8 or 9 players that were anywhere from "Good" to "Hall Of Fame" level quarters players, so a LOT of beer was consumed in an incredibly short amount of time. The winner was the last person to pass out. That was a very tough night for a bunch of Indiana University students.

Now, casually drinking why playing cornhole or kan jam is about the extent of my beer drinking games.
