Sorry if it has been discussed before; I did a search and found zilch.

    Brewed by Meantime. Nice choice.

    Carry on drinking.

Yep and Patrick D got a bottle sent to him by Interbrau. He posted a pic on Facebook. I'm on my phone so I can't copy and paste it here or I would. Cheers.

Some of us know the original. We know what Micheal Jackson wrote praising it. Obscure, no more than many of the sought after barrel aged beers today, or some ephemeral IPA/DIPAs with limited production. It was brewed in England by a smallish brewery, and it still made its way here.

15-20 years ago I could find Thomas Hardy on the shelf, often multiple years of it. Not so obscure in my book.

Some of us know much more about beer than about English literature.

Dude. Or should I say Jude.

I hope it's like the old stuff, nothing can touch it for the style. Cracked this one not too long ago

For sure. I saw buttloads of bottles during my multiple trips to Fort Collins Co.

January 2014 bottle like Patrick got in his pic will probably be a tad too sweet but crickey, I would love to try it. ..

You shouldn't trumpet your own jokes in such a major way.

I guess you have to let them sit a while. The one I had in the picture was 16 years old. The flavor was beyond words.

Even 10 years ago (maybe even 5) you could find bottles on the shelves.

At one of the early Extreme Beerfests (maybe mid-2000s) one of the staff was cracking what I want to say was a 20+ year old bottle of Thomas Hardy. After all these years (and beers) it's still one of the best beers I've ever had.

Depends on where you were and what they got. It went away around here. Maybe I bought it all?

I guess Thomas Hardy's is in the SAB Miller family.

Why does this thread have a "Community" prefix? I'm perplexed.

OK, I was wondering if a mod made it so.
