I believe Steve has dropped off some of that cheesecake at a bottle share at my apartment (coffee cake flavored I believe). Also, this was for a bottle share which Steve did not attend. He did not, however, share that his family had owned the bakery, much less for 90 years. Wow! Amazing cheesecake and an amazing BA-er. Well done Steve.

 

I'll ask around. Even though this is a Sam Adams product, I think these are rather hard to find. I've seen them a couple times, but in my experience, these have nothing close to the regular Angry Orchard distro.

 

I'm organizing a BIF, and by BIF I mean I'm going to jack some of you fools up like our friend Mr. T. Some of you I owe retribution, some of you may be celebrating certain events and some of you I just don't like the smug look on your face. Be forewarned my Local friends, a storm is coming and it's super gay(I think that's how the quote goes).

So locals, when you are comparing a base and a barrel/aged beer, do you usually do them one at a time or a literal side by side?

 

Despite my avatar(s) ** SPOILER ALERT **, I'm not a big guy, so usually one BA beer is all I need at one sitting, therefore I rarely do them side by side. And doing them independently, I typically do not give the BA version a big bump (although I am getting more and more into BA stuff as my palate matures, or maybe that's my liver).

That doesn't mean I never drink them immediately back-to-back, just that I don't usually open and pour them simultaneously.

 

If anyone is going to burley oak soon let me know, I want some sorry chicky cans..

 

And how many rockets have failed to launch due to your copying tendencies through school?

As you've probably seen in pictures, actually side-by-side. Not for the faint of heart (read: I got a couple pounds on you )

 

Not soon, but my buddy will get some next time he's down there for me(us). Had a can over the weekend. Great stuff. Reminded me a bit of Pizza Boys Eternal Sunshine but in a can

Thanks for the response everyone, no one has said they can for sure get some so if you see it grab it and I'll make it worth your while. If you can't find any keep an eye out as it looks like a fall seasonal.
