Who's YOUR main drinking buddy?

Welp, I've been drinking beer with my best friend Scott (non-BA, sadly) for nigh on 15 years. I've also started going to beer fests and so on with my brothers and their friends (my brothers are 13 and 14 years older than me) for the last 3-4 years -- truly a blessing.

On a side note, I didn't really connect with my brothers until like 5 or 6 years ago (I'm 33). Every once in a while I'll sing Cat's in the Cradle at my 13-year-older brother and he'll get simultaneously pissed at me and sentimental, because we could have been drinking together so much longer.

I will say my wife. She is a good sport and lets me have fun (DD for example on brewery tours, beer bar trips). She was fine with a beer themed trip to Asheville this fall too!

 

Most of the time I Solo drink....but I will share a Beer or 5 with @gillagorilla and @wiscokid920. My Dogs and Cats seem not to care too much while I drink. They're Truly Open Minded about my Drinking Habits.

 

My girlfriend. Its taken all of two years but she is finally ordering beer on her own now without asking me if she would like it.

 

My wife - she took me to Hill Farmstead last summer and this summer and waits patiently for my while I check through every bottle shop we go to just in case...

 

My buddy George who moved to Los Angeles last year. When I visit, we do the town right.

 

My friend BA in the KC metro. Nothing like catching a baseball game and enjoying a great craft beer.

The girlfriend. I no longer consider her a mule because now she enjoys the beers we score and trade for. She still needs help ordering beers sometimes but she no longer says every IPA "tastes like Columbus IPA". Plus she's taking me to Side Project Cellar as a late birthday present.

 

Girlfriend as well. She's awesome about it. When she travels for work she'll come back with a trunk full of beer for me. When I say 'a place in Philly (a 5 hour drive) has something I want' she says 'how about next weekend? I'll drive!' When we're planning our itinerary for a trip out west (Portland/Seattle) she looks up reviews as to what breweries are the best and leaves whole days for us to exclusively go to breweries.

I'm one lucky son of a bitch.

 

Most times it's just me enjoying a beer by myself while perusing the WBAYDN thread. Like @lambpasty stated earlier and quite accurately, "...with you nerds"
My beer intake has been quite a bit lax lately with the move to Florida and all, but back in PA my main drinkin' pahtner was @jzeilinger, which of course most regulars of the WBAYDN thread already know.

 

Definitely my wife. She has developed a taste for Porters. When we go to Total Wine she even cruises the single aisle looking for different ones to try and finally makes selections without even seeking my advice.
