Who's YOUR main drinking buddy?

This is an easy answer, the WBAYDN crew.

 

When my lovely wife was alive, she and my son were my preferred drinking buddies. Now that she's gone, my son and I still continue the tradition.

 

My main drinking buddy is Dave. His kids are the same age as mine. So he brings the kids over to play in the backyard while we geek out on fine craft beer. Our wives usually go shopping somewhere so they get a break from the kids. Everybody wins!

 

My whole family! We usually get together at my oldest daughter's house (she has an in-ground pool) on the weekends and on many evenings, to bar-b-q, drink beer, chat and play Baggo. My other 2 daughter's come with their husbands and some in-laws will also show up.

 

I can't think of anybody I'd rather have a drink with than y'all!

 

I have three main friends! Me, myself and I....

 

Usually, it's the bartender or owners of the places I frequent. At home, me at twitter.

We usually get together a few times a month and share a few bottles. We have gone on runs to the US and done a beer road trip as well. This has resulted in much mocking from our wives.

 

My wife and I split just about everything. Makes it easy when buying, trading, etc when she wants to drink it almost as much as I do.

 

Never found anyone I enjoy having a beer more with than a great friend, @doomXsaloon

 

Me, myself, and I most the time unfortunately. Sometimes have taken my mother and brother out to catch up with them though.

 

The boss...my wife.

 

My wife and my black cat most of the time. Otherwise it would be whoever is at my usual haunts like Dry Dock, the B&B, Comrade, etc.

 

My dad. Now that I'm nearing 40 (37) there's no one else I'd rather share my beer with.

 

I have a beer club I meet with every 3-4 months.... but the majority of the time I drink beer with my wife and son. It makes for some interesting conversations when my son comes to the bottle shop with me. He knows my favorite style is Saison so he's always pointing out saisons, he has also noticed that IPA is very popular. I get some strange looks from the other customers. He's usually hanging out when I brew as well.

 

My neighbors or my lab...and often my wife (she doesnt drink good beer though)

 

My brother is probably my number 1 beer partner...

But funny thing- my wife, who hated all beer for a while- is coming around slowly and I knew I just had to wait her out and continue to have her taste things here or there until she's start to respond.
She's into Belgians and "less bitter" IPAs--- and from all my knowledge about converting people That seems to be Always where they begin! I tell her now, give me 3 years of progressing tastes and we'll be splitting a bottle of Black Tuesday together for our anniversary!

That would be my incredible fiance. I turned her onto good beer about 7 years ago. My wallet has never forgiven me.

My #2 drinking buddy is suffering from Parkinsons or something similar and it's really not cool for him to be drinking now
My #3 drinking buddy moved to the Portland area

So...

I drink alone now, mostly. My long-term g/f is there, but she doesn't drink beer or much of anything, really.
