Nooo! My wife is making me go to a BBQ and the silver lining was crowler from Sisyphus. Was worried something like that would happen.

Really wanted to snag a crowler of first beer from them last night but it was after ten when we left the basilica. MN laws strike again.

First beer was really good, but left me with a kind of watery impression though instead of the dry finish I enjoy in IPA's. Coffee stout was good as well - saw that they pour fresh coffee into the glass first and then stout over top - wondering @Oneeighthcuban if that's in addition to coffee being in the stout or no?

I had the first beer we've every named on Wednesday and while I thought it was good, I was not getting all the the flavors others were describing and also felt the bitterness was a bit too harsh. I was looking forward to trying it again as the first time I had the session IPA, I felt underwhelmed, but it grew on me. Sadly, looks like I won't get a chance until next round (if there is a next round).

I also had the coffee on Wednesday and noticed that coffee was mixed at time of pour, so didn't know what to think about that, but it ended up being really good. Figure it helps prevent infections issues and what not.

I also had this and thought it was digable. Quaint joint. Worth a stop. If you are into Star Wars there is some sweet art for sale on the wall.

Wow, impressive. Though I suppose it sucks they could sell more. Silver lining is they probably get the break they deserve.

Just for anyone interested I'd figure I'd give a quick Re-Cap of saturdays (7/11) Blind Tasting. As clarification, This is only based on taste, these were all poured in a random order by girls whom know nothing about the beers. The beer dates were decent. But this was more for fun than anything serious.

    1. CW HHG (Unsure of Bottling Date) - I thought Id be able to tell this as it uses Mosaic, oddly enough I thought this was PSue, The beer had a certain Citra juiciness to it that I enjoyed . Poured (#4)
    2. Sisyphus The Frst Beer we Named (Crowler 7/10/15) - I could tell this was Sisyphus as the hop aroma was strong to the nose, tasted very fresh. Super well balanced. Poured (#3)
    3. Zombie Dust (6/7/15) - This had a bit more of an orangey flavor, however, wasnt a fan of the malt flavors I was getting. Poured (#2)
    4. PSue (6/15/15) - I thought I was for sure going to know this one. However, when I tasted, had strong taste of bitter lemon, color was straw, and the taste was a bit muted . Poured (#1)

Interesting to me as I had done a blind side by side of ZD and Sue a few weeks back and I strongly preferred the Psue.
Not sure if order would make a difference, but these were all really similar beers and all beers Id gladly drink on the regular
My brother went 1.ZDust 2. Sisyphus 3. PSue 4. HHG , just goes to show how tastes can be different

The calendar for anniversary week was just posted on Twitter. Something called Tri-City being released today, cake beer tomorrow (I can't wait for that), and a barrel aged release on Friday.

Here's the poster for the Tri-City Beer. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info other than that.

On their facebook page, they also mention a "special crowler" for sale today as well.

I'm sorry, but I have no interest in any beer that Sidhe was involved in.

Their first BA beer was supposed to be available today. Very limited, like 53 crowler.

Yeah, that sounds like it. It is the same base beer as the beer for Friday, just different barrel. Sounded like limited amoutj today so wanted to let people get it organically first before mentioning it.
