Ok BA and my esteemed Great Lakes members, can anyone tell me anything about this beer? Wife and I are taking the babies to Disney for their first birthday, which happens to be the same time as the food and wine fest, and this beer is listed at one of the booths. I can't find anything about it anywhere... Which for some reason infuriates me.

Help soothe my rustled jimmies BA.

They have countless one-offs that are speculated "off" batches and experiments for upcoming brews. My bet is it's one of those. Now, that doesn't help you, but the only bad beer I've had from Founders was their Mint Stout so I'm also betting it's good.

I'm guessing a variation of Devil Dancer?

I doubt they would serve anything remotely close to Devil Dancer. People already drink too much at Epcot considering it is suppose to be a family friendly environment.

Founders is affiliated somehow with a bike ride called the Trifecta Tour in September. Isn't this about the same time as the Food and Wine Festival?

Sounds about right. Probably a lighter beer, maybe wheat or a pilsner or similar?

Bah, guess I'll find out soon enough.

Can't help on the beer, but I'm wishing you some fun, OP! My wife and I have been to Food and Wine twice (once on our honeymoon, and again about a year and a half after our first was born) and both times were fantastic.

I would love to see Mosaic Promise replace the Pale on the year-round. I haven't been buying many of Founder's hoppy offerings lately (other than Harvest Ale the two weeks you can get it and Red's Rye on draft), but that would make me start.

I'm with you on this. Centennial IPA is damn good when fresh but it's rare to find it <2 weeks old.

I find myself picking up Rajah and Headhunter in Toledo quite often because the supply/demand are in better balance, increasing the odds of very fresh beer.

Damn that's a sweet label! Excited to try this. Odd style for Founders but they'll do it right.

First Sierra Nevada does a Kolsch and now Founders will do one in September. 2015 has been a good beer year so far.
