I realize that. My comment(s) had nothing to do with what the message says.

That baby was actually Benjamin Button and was 100 years old. He's already experienced and defeated alcoholism by that point.

With laws that prevent a brewer from putting a cartoon baby on a lable one can easily understand how the ancient Egyptians once worshipped and insect.

As long as what is inside the bottle stays the same. Although I will say the new label looks more cartoonish than the old label...

It is damn downright pathetic that people in elected office in Michigan would waste their time and tax payers' money on issues like this. As others have already said, at least the beer inside the bottle will stay the same regardless of the label on the outside of the bottle.

With regards to New Hampshire, the beer will be legal in New Hampshire pretty soon. The NH Senate overrode the governor and passed a law that will allow beer with minors on the bottle to be sold. Can't link to the article but its in the beer street journal.

I can't see anything about Michigan though.

Around 8 years ago I picked up several four packs of FBS at a Whole Foods. While in the check out line a woman in her mid 60s looked at the four packs, then looked at me and did this a few times before asking me if it was baby food. I laughed and told her it was beer.

man totally missed that, you mean this isn't formula? This used to be the bottle that I used on my last kid to put him down for the night. You know a nipple pops right on that top

I've always felt that it was a really ugly label.

Glad to see it go, even if the behind-the-scenes reasoning is totally asinine.

It's really weird that Michigan (well, "home state" which I'm assuming is MI) is mentioned because I've heard absolutely nothing indicating that this was an issue. I can't find any mention of it at all, either from the legislature or the liquor control commission. The only label objection I could find was for Flying Dog, and that was back in 2009, though it looks like it dragged on for a while.

I just hope this baby turns out alright. So many of these child stars turn into train wrecks once the fame is gone.

It wasn't even a baby. It was a little kid. And eating oatmeal. Not drinking beer. Whatever.
