    Hey, gonna be in Burlington in August, on a Monday-friday, is it possible to score any focal banger or was that limited to the release party back in March? I saw on beermenus that bluebird bbq restaurant Was serving cans. Any other tips on alchemist, hill farmstead or lawsons retail locations in and around Burlington would also be greatly appreciated!

    Bars and restaurants around Waterbury have it, don't know about burlington, but I wouldn't be shocked

    I was up there last weekend, and everyplace I went I was told that currently, it is only sold for on-premises consumption at bars. Winooski did not have any Saturday or Sunday. I saw it at bars in Burlington, Waterbury and Montpelier. Who knows, maybe it will be more available next month.

    That is correct - Focal is sold for on site consumption only at bars and restaurants.

    Was there recently for graduation and just found out about this amazing beer but missed out on a chance to pick up any cases. I recommend prohibition pig (pulled pork+heady topper) and three penny (burger/wings+focal banger). They were out of focal at prohibition pig. I didn't care for any of the hill farmstead beers but we all have different tastes. Best of luck.

    Every time I've been up there since focal has been distro'd to bars I've been able to get focal at all the Waterbury spots on Saturday without issue. Obviously YMMV and for events like the fest last weekend I'm sure it is harder to come by, but on a normal Friday/Saturday you should be totally fine in Waterbury or Burlington. The only time I was shut out was during the HF anniversary at the HF tap takeover at farmhouse-so obviously it will run low during big events, but other than that you should be fine.

    Even last weekend you could get cans of Focal in most bars in Burlington. Shouldn't be an issue. And definitely get some. It's delicious!

    I had a can with dinner tonight on Church street in Burlington. Was told it was delivered last week, so it made it through the Brewfest craziness

    Juniper at Hotel Vermont had plenty of it last weekend. Maybe just because the festival was in town but worth a try.

    I think you're right that does seem like heady availability, any suggestions on what time I should get to any of those stores if I wanted to buy cases?
