Really? Around here their prices track almost exactly together. Only real exceptions I can think of: All Day is cheaper than anything Bell's (Bell's doesn't have a distro'd session IPA) and Founder's does their Backstage in 750s, which are obviously more expensive.

Would you like to rate my beers for me since you better know what I think of them?

14 of the 22 Founders beers are rated 4 or higher by the OP. with an average score of 4.06. His lowest rated Founders beer is still 3.48. I think it is safe to say he is a fan. He doesn't need to give every one of their beers a 5 to like a brewery. Individual beer ratings are just a part of it. As he mentioned in his original post consistency, availability, and variety are reasons he likes them. Not sure why you would call his review scores into question regarding his opinion of the brewery anyway, unless you are just trying to troll. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

I wish I could buy stock in Founder's.

In ten years I could pay for all my beer, by buying beer...sigh

I really enjoyed the fresh beer on tap and the fine food at the Founders brewery in downtown Grand Rapids when I visited my niece in Kentwood, MI. Since I moved to Florida, I have not had an opportunity to travel up there. Very unique place.

I love the imperial stout and the breakfast stout, haven't had too much more from them, might need to make an effort to try some of their other beers.

So far the only one of their beers I've tried was Dirty Bastard -- but as that one was among my favorite beers I've had so far, I'd say that's a pretty good first impression!

I know my local beer/wine store stocks several others from them (I remember seeing Backwoods Bastard there last fall/winter, and their porter and a couple others I can't remember off the top of my head on the most recent visit), so I'm guessing I'll be getting around to trying more from them in the not-too-distant future when my work hours come back up a bit and I can afford to be buying more beer.

Big fan of Dirty Bastard and the Porter....but I can also get it for $3/six pack. Haven't had a ton of their other stuff (wookey, centennial, that's it), but I've been a fan of...well I guess half of it.

Backwoods Bastard is probably the best beer I have had on tap this year! Great brewery!!

I enjoy almost everything Founders brews (the only one I really don't like is Rubaeus). FIS, Backwoods, and Curmudgeon are my favorites. Visiting Founders is on my bucket list.

Quote found on a 6-pack of Dirty Bastard -

"We don't brew beer for the masses, instead, our beers are crafted for a chosen few, a small cadre of renegades and rebels who enjoy beer that pushes the limits of what is commonly accepted as taste. In short, we brew beer for people like us. Founders. Brewed for us".

    Gotta love this quote.

the prices are about the same here. when you factor in Founders $16 bombers you'll find that Bells is cheaper per ounce

Founders is a good brewery with a really solid lineup of core beers, not a stinker in the bunch. Breweries are getting too much love for their limited release beers these days when the focus should be on their offerings as whole. That is somewhere that Founders shines in my opinion.

Agreed, Founders is my all-time favorite breweries. Every beer I've had from them has been awesome.
