Whoa, 3L of Toronado 20th and T25? That's mother of all whales. Guess a lot of Ann will make way to CA after 8/11.

Damn. They're really bringing it. Maybe I should get in line for the bottle release on the 11th now... Does anyone remember how much 750s of T20 were originally? Curious to see how much I should be planning to bring in cash. I want 3 bottles, if that's not over the limit...

Anyone else going to the dinner? We're in if they still have tickets left!

I'd love to buy tix for the dinner but living 2 hours away I'm not going to drive to SF to buy tix if that is the only way they are available.

I just wrote a check for seats for myself and 5 other friends to go - I haven't actually asked those friends yet if they're free that night, though... If any of those spots end up being unclaimed, I'll let you BAers know.

Same here, I def want more than one... Anyways, any veterans got advice on lining up for T-25? I've been to Pliny the Younger release as well as the beatification release, both at santa rosa. Is this T-25 release going to be easier or harder than those RR events?

At least. This will be like barley wine fest x20.

Dammit...I didn't go to the barley wine fest...I am more of a Beer Rev guy since I live in east bay. And I've heard numerous stories/painful journeys about getting a bottle of cable car in toronado. So...I have to be a handsome hipster, order something sophisticated, and butter them up real good...

If I were going, I'd be there no later than 6am. But that's just me. My favorite part of releases is standing in line and sharing bottles with the other BAs waiting with me.

No need to hype this party up. There will be good beers and a good time had by all. Lots of awesome, rare big stouts and barleywines will appear as the evening progresses.

It is a pretty fun party but I want to echo this sentiment. I've seen BAs get disappointed about bottle sales at the anniversary party in the past. The event is meant to be just a commemoration of Toronado's anniversary with a really great draft list. Their primary goal is to have a great party for locals and friends. Selling bottles to go is a secondary priority (or even lower), so bottle hunters should prepare for the possibility that you'll leave empty handed.

Exactly. This won't be about buttering them up. Unless you're in line early, you might well miss out on to-go bottles. But you'll still get to try T25 on tap, and it will be delicious.

Can anyone confirm that some will be released at the brewpub?
