I didn't think it (w00t) was that bad. Pretend it's Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout, and it will taste pretty good.

    Right here. :stuck_out_tongue:

At least it is just a bottle and who knows, you may like it.

Folks on the main beer release thread have good things to say about it. I loved the 2.0 last year so there was no way I wasn't buying a bottle regardless of what folks say. Who knows how their taste compares to mine.

Heck yea - at $10 - for the price it's pretty good... I just heard AWESOME things about 1.0 and 2.0 so I may have had my expectations in the wrong spot...

I don't know what all you fools are complaining about, at 13% abv, it's fairly cheap way to get drunk at least.

W00t is definitely no drain pour imo but it didn't live up to my expectations from 1.0, temper those expectations and I think its a decent value and can be enjoyed

Thanks for the warning guys. I was contemplating buying a bottle. I think I will pass.

Where I come from, this is considered a party foul! And I think disposing of alcohol in a drain is punishable by death in Ireland, if I remember right.

I agree. Plus, beer guys (myself included) can be a bit over dramatic at times.

I used to have that thinking, but changed my tune. When thinking about it, instead of choking something down, I can just have another beer that I will enjoy instead.

I defiantly think this release is getting a bunch more mixed reviews than the others. All I know, it wasn't for me. I struggled through the first pour and decided to pull the plug and move on to something I knew I would enjoy.

There are sober kids in China and you are just pouring beer down the drain. For shame. FOR SHAME!

Any body else drinking a lot of this? I think's its my favorite new brew being distro'd. Especially at the $4.99 price point.

I guess I am just a bad person all around. Our daughter had her first limb lengthening surgery this week and has a taylor spatial frame (don't search for images if you are squeamish). We want to keep it and I asked her doctor and he said sure. But if we don't since they are not allowed to reuse it in the US (no idea why, it is all external for the parts that would be reused), he keeps them and brings them to third world countries to use them here.

I think to round out the trifecta of being a bad person, I am going to find some kittens or puppies to kick and maybe steel ice cream cones from kids here at the childrens hospital.

I would say laugh since I would never kick puppies. And my daughter is doing fine and the doctor said he has hundreds of the frames, so if we keep just one, we are not depriving any children in third world countries. We will be donating the rest of the frames (3 to 4 more).

If you can't get over the dumping beer and keeping kids sober in China, I will not hold it against you.

Totally random, misplaced question: what are good beer stores in St. Cloud that get the bigger releases?

Westside in both Waite Park and St. Cloud would be your best bet. If you are looking for BCBS, KBS or similar releases, you might not have any luck. Neither have ever been available in SC to my knowledge.

As for Darkness, Westside and several grocery stores had it briefly last year.
