    I thought Uranus (I'm done making any more jokes, so if you are only still reading for that reason you can stop now:grinning:) was very similar to Founders. Good, but not great. If you thought that was the best black ale you have had, I definitely will suggest some others that I think are much better. I could be wrong, but try some of these if you haven't (in order)

    The Brew Kettle Black Rajah, Lagunitas Nighttime, Carton Epitome, Deschutes Hop in the Dark

    On a side note, I wish I had a lot more Saturn.

    Kane High Head a NJ local that is as good as any IPA you can name. At a happy hour $4.00 a pint unbeatable!

    Clown Shoes Pierre Ferrand Billionaire. English Barleywine, aged for 6 months in 30 year old Pierre Ferrand Cognac barrels. Lots of black tea and booze. I wish it was sweeter and less boozy. Perhaps some aging will do this beer good. Cheers!

    Which one? Founders has had a couple that I know of. Their Dark Penance was insanely unbalanced (hoppy bitterness). I liked it but it was a little too intense.

    Yeah. That one. It was just a bitter IPA. Nobody would ever know it was black if they drank it blindfolded.
