1 typically (I think) extra extra knuckles is only a 32oz fill
    2 I believe it's been 20 for a 32oz so that would make 30 for 64 a great price

As far as the crowler ban goes, I'm sure it's due to DO pickup. The tests we had done on our own canned product (packaged on wild goose line) and several popular canned beers had extremely high levels of DO, so I can't imagine the levels from a crowler fill :slight_frown:. Don't believe the bs that crowlers are good for beer, the only people claiming that are the ones selling the seamer, ball corp, or the people that have purchased one. They are pretty neat though

Agreed. It can also be frustrating when some beers are 32oz only without any notice. Put me in the camp that would never pay $30 for a growler of anything, especially that beer.

Have they done any of these since the new place opened? Personally, I wouldn't ever hit one, but it was interesting to read another thread about problems they've had with them in the past (paraguesia 3 I think). It really is a headscratcher why they do so many things that just seem to show at best, inconsideration, and at worst, contempt for their customers.

Just have to add, the last few times I've been in (at off times, very slow) the service at the bar was pretty bad. Not so much unfriendly but I went at least 10-15 minutes with an empty beer more than once. As someone who has bartended before, that is really unacceptable.

Yes, Parageusia4. I reserved my bottle online (Believer's Club) but I heard it was the best run release they've done.

That's good to hear. My friends like to go to things like that so I'm glad for them. Are the online reservations open to everyone, or just those that belong to that Believers Club?

I ate dinner there last night. I had one of the flights, which included a pale ale, double ipa, grisette, belgian pale, english bitter, and a porter. I thought they were all solid beers.

The food was really good- the fried gnocci appetizer, and skirt steak/shrimp platter I had were top notch.

Had a chance to stop into Fermentaria couple times since some updates to the menu, once for the taco night special. Like the idea of them doing a special taco each week (although was sold out of it when I came in). Have to ding them for the price ($10) of the nachos and chips. Basically just plain chips with some guacamole and red salsa. Someone in the group wanted them but all agreed it was grossly overpriced for what you got. Saw someone order the infamous fried chicken and thought of you guys......

Having recently been I have to echo your sentiment. I find it odd that growler price is nowhere and when I asked what the growler price would be of one beer the answer was "well, I'll see if I can find that out for you".....almost as if it was secret knowledge.

They dont post them because some of them are outrageously high. 30 Dollars for a fill of Extra Extra Knuckle which is not a great beer compared to some of theirs because its over 8 percent is F-ing nuts and stupid

I've only been once but the growlers I got filled (cucumber IPA and Canopy Ascent) were both really well priced. I think only $5 for a 32 oz.

No. You paid $5 for the glass and at least $10 for each fill...

First time for me today. Food was very good as stated before, but a tad pricey. I picked up a Hophands growler and a Fuzzy Green growler they were $10 a piece for 32oz. The Only Void with coffee and cherries was $20 for a 32 oz fill.

Fuzzy Green w/ cucumber was amazingly refreshing.

I was thinking about this when I was there this past week and I have my theory. I think the majority of their hopping is late additions and dry hopping given the big aroma and flavor profiles lacking big bitterness in most of their happier beers. These are usually the first things to fade and I think they are afraid people will wait on them too long if they are in a crowler. If it's in glass I think they hope you'll drink it sooner and they urge that you do. Just a theory.

As for the Fermentaria, it was nice having beers on tap longer. I got a sample and growler of Alien Church which was on tap about a week at the time I went, maybe more. The food isn't dialed in yet. It's lacking the details that make the food at the Brew Cafe amazing.
