That's correct, a perfect game means 0 baserunners, a no hitter means no baserunners specifically by way of a hit, so all perfect games are no hitters but not all no hitters are perfect games.

 

Has there been a perfect game this year or just no 3 no hitters (Heston - Scherzer - Hamels)?
