    I'm not sure if you've been to a release before, but bringing your dog is definitely a bad idea. It sounds like the brewpub and public house aren't dog-friendly anyway, but it's pretty crowded during the release. The chances of your dog getting hurt and/or running off are pretty high. Not worth it, IMO.

    Thanks for the concern, but my little guy (mini dachshund) has been to plenty of releases and doesnt mind getting carried around in a tote bag if necessary. We don't like leaving him in a hotel room for the weekend.

    My buddy brought his small dog to the last release. No problems at all. As long as he's well behaved he'll be alright.

    It amazes me that breweries manage to find a way to make beer releases more appealing as opposed to more frustrating. Good call on not releasing a beer that will only annoy the people that couldn't get it. I can't wait to see what they have on tap for this event. The citramosa and nutted brick kiln at the last release were out of this world.

    Mini Dachshunds FTW (two here)

    Haven't been to a JO release yet. Am I understanding this correctly, unless you attend the first night you're unlikely to get bottles during the day of the sale (since you wouldnt have a calendar page)? Not that I wouldn't want to indulge on all those tap handles, but it's hard to get down that way on a Friday night with me working til 6 most days and the drive being 3+ hours.

    No, you'll (likely) get bottles, you'll just have a calendar page later in the year. They leave the calendar pages out after they hand them out the first night, and you can even get one Saturday AM.

    Let's get back on topic, what time are bottles available for purchase if oro happens to be ready by Friday. From what I can tell its 11 but I hate to drive 3 hrs and it not be open yet
