I made no error...everyone told me this was the immediate future of FS and they had no clue if/when it would change back to the original recipe. At no point was it discussed or mentioned that it was an experimental batch (seems to have been a large batch/multiple batches to have been poured for almost a month and still on the same batch). Nowhere in the brewery, on the beer list, nor the big board did it mention it was a different recipe...everything still said "Fresh Squeezed", as usual.

Therein lies the problem if you ask me.

Yes, that was our mistake, calling it "Fresh Squeezed". It clearly was not, and we knew the flavor was not the same at the time...

Maybe call it "Fresh Squeezed: Darkest Timeline" and then we can all forget it ever happened.

Just noticed today some slight changes to the Fresh Squeezed label, it got me thinking about this. Anxious to try it now.

Deschutes has redesigned the labels for all their year-rounds. Maybe because of how much remaining supply of "old" labels for other beers they had, the redesigned Fresh Squeezed seemed the first to show up on shelves here too. I think they're al really good, especially the labels for Black Butte and Obsidian. New bottlecap design too!

I've only seen the new Inversion packaging up in Seattle so far.

New Fresh Squeezed label is great, the old one always felt out of place with the rest of the lineup. Like the new Black Butte too.
