    I'll be taking over for this years NFL Survivor pool BIF, as Damian has hung up his beer drinking glasses.

    What is Survival Football? Well it's...
    also known as an elimination league, suicide league, last man standing league, survivor football pool , is a competition among participants to see who will outlast their opponents during the regular football season. The premise is simple: each week you pick one team to win their game. If your team wins, you stay in the competition; if they lose, you're out! Also you can't pick the same team twice.
    Last year we had about 54 participants. Payouts will depend on how many people sign up, probably the top 15% will be in the mix. Payouts will be announced when the season starts and entries are locked. Min 66oz- max 110. Wants/Should be wants/out of distro/beers you would want to receive. This year, I'm going to eliminate the beer swag item. But we will continue with Damian's idea of an NFL Swag item. There were a lot of good creative ideas last year, I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
    Last years payouts were:
    1st 16 boxes
    2nd 11
    3rd 8
    4th 6
    5th 3
    6th. 2
    7th. 1

    He was pretty open with everybody about his reasons in other threads, so I suppose it's OK to share here. He has been dealing with some health issues, and gave up drinking as part of his focus on getting back to good health. He's a great guy and I hope the issues he's dealing with clear up quickly. I miss his presence in the sports BIFS too Nuke, he brought a lot to the table in them.
